Laurie Heapes MS, PT is a graduate of D’Youville College (now University) in Buffalo, NY and been a PT for 30 years. She began her career at the Hospital for Joint Diseases ( NYU Orthopedic Health) working in Acute care, Rehab and Outpatient. She was also supervisor of their satellite office, Arthrofitness clinic, for 3 years. She has taken a variety of continuing education courses to advance treatment care. She enjoys working with patients and getting to know them personally so they can return to the work and recreational activity. She believes manual treatment and exercise is a big part of therapy as well as getting to know the patient better to achieve goals.
